The larger diameter of the main body on the alternator means that 34 PICT carbs foul when fitting an alternator conversion. This 10mm spacer lifts the carburetor up to provide the required clearance.

Standard 0.5mm thick shim for the alternator/dynamo pulley. Used to adjust the fan belt tension by removing shims, which are then stored on the front of the pulley, below the pulley nut washer.
